Iowa High School Basketball - Nashua-Plainfield can't hold off St. Ansgar
January 24, 2023: St. Ansgar, IA 50472 The St. Ansgar Saints basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Nashua-Plainfield Huskies to 41 in the Saints league triumph on Tuesday.
The Saints now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Fork for a non-league contest on Friday, January 27. St. Ansgar will battle a Warhawks team coming off a 71-62 league win over Central Springs (Manly, IA). The Warhawks record now stands at 13-2.
The Huskies (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against Osage (Osage, IA). The Green Devils enter the non-league contest with a 12-3 record. In their last contest, Osage nudged North Butler (Greene, IA), 67-50, in a non-league contest.
