Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks (Colorado Springs, CO) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO), 60-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cheyenne Mountain upgrades its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Red-Tailed Hawks travel to Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO) to play the Bears in a 5A/4A Pikes Peak bout on Thursday, January 26. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 14-2. Palmer Ridge won 56-51 in their recent league bout against Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO)

Next up, the Thunder play the Lewis-Palmer Rangers (Monument, CO) in a 5A/4A Pikes Peak bout, on Thursday, January 26. Discovery Canyon will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Rangers come into the bout with a 5-12 record after their 58-29 league loss to Lutheran (Parker, CO).
