Lovejoy Leopards (Lucas, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX), 46-45 in a league game.

In their next game, the Leopards face the Denison Yellow Jackets (Denison, TX) in a 5A Region II District 13 game, on Friday, January 27. Lovejoy will attempt to move on its 17-13 season record.
