The Tivy Antlers basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Seguin Matadors to 28 in the Antlers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Antlers now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boerne-Champion for a 5A Region IV District 26 contest on Friday, January 27. Tivy will meet a Chargers team coming off a 56-37 league win over Canyon (New Braunfels, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 24-6.

The Matadors (9-24) will now prepare for their contest against Wagner (San Antonio, TX). The Thunderbirds enter the 5A Region IV District 26 contest with a 20-4 record. In their last contest, Wagner triumphed over Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX), 68-30, in a league contest.
