The The Master's Academy Lions basketball team (Forest City, NC), was overwhelmed 49-27 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Veritas Christian Academy Warriors (Arden, NC)

The Warriors now possess a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy for a Western Piedmont battle on Thursday, January 26. Veritas Christian Academy will confront a Eagles team coming off a 52-47 league loss to The Master's Academy (Forest City, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 4-4.

The Lions (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Pinnacle Classical Academy (Shelby, NC). The Eagles come into the Western Piedmont battle with a 7-5 record.
