In Thursday's league match, the host Veritas Christian Academy Warriors basketball team scored a decisive 62-27 triumph over the Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy Eagles.

In their next game, the Warriors meet the Bethel Christian Academy Crusaders (Spruce Pine, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 27.
