North Carolina High School Basketball - Carson overwhelmed by Lake Norman Charter
January 24, 2023: Huntersville, NC 28078 The Lake Norman Charter Knights basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Carson Cougars to 23 in the Knights non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Knights now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Rowan for a non-league contest on Friday, January 27. Lake Norman Charter will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 35-13 non-league loss to Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-14.
The Cougars (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Concord (Concord, NC). The Spiders come into the contest with a 15-2 record. In their last contest, Concord was routed by Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 54-39, in a league contest.
