The Vikings now possess a 15-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lord Botetourt for a non-league battle on Friday, January 27. Northside will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 43-39 non-league win over William Byrd (Vinton, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 7-7.
The Colonels (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 5-11 record. In their last battle, Franklin County trounced Staunton River (Moneta, VA), 34-33, in a non-league battle.
