The Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC) basketball nipped the host Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC), 64-57 in Wednesday's league test.

The Redhawks (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Piedmont (Monroe, NC). The Panthers go into the 2A/3A Rocky River test with a 10-8 record. In their last test, Piedmont got by Anson (Wadesboro, NC), 74-61, in a league test.
