In Wednesday's league outing, the Metamora Redbirds (Metamora, IL) basketball squad beat the host Canton Little Giants (Canton, IL), by a margin of 46-37.

The Redbirds (10-16) will now prepare for their outing against Pekin (Pekin, IL). The Dragons go into the Mid-Illini outing with a 9-12 record. In their last outing, Pekin defeated Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL), 51-47, in a non-league outing.
