The Glenelg Gladiators basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the visiting Long Reach Lightning to 34 in the Gladiators league victory on Wednesday.

The Gladiators now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Carroll for a non-league contest on Monday, January 29. Glenelg will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 49-28 league win over Manchester Valley (Manchester, MD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 8-4.

The Lightning (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Howard (Ellicott City, MD). The Lions come into the Howard County contest with a 9-4 record.
