Maryland High School Basketball - Mt. Hebron holds off Glenelg
February 7, 2024: Ellicott City, MD 21042 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Mt. Hebron Vikings (Ellicott City, MD) and the visiting Glenelg Gladiators (Glenelg, MD), saw Mt. Hebron's basketball squad hold off Glenelg by a tally of 42-36.
With the victory, Mt. Hebron improves its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Hammond (Columbia, MD) to confront the Golden Bears in a Howard County challenge on Monday, February 12. The Golden Bears come into the challenge with a record of 17-0.
Next up, the Gladiators confront the Reservoir 'Gators (Fulton, MD) in a Howard County challenge, on Monday, February 12. Glenelg will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The 'Gators come into the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 61-49 league loss to Oakland Mills (Columbia, MD).
