The Portage Mustangs (Portage, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA), 54-33 in Wednesday's league test.

The Mustangs (17-1) will now prepare for their test against Conemaugh Township (Davidsville, PA). The Indians go into the Heritage test with a 5-11 record. In their last test, Conemaugh Township walloped Conemaugh Valley (Johnstown, PA), 55-34, in a league test.

The Wildcats now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they host West Shamokin for a Heritage outing on Thursday, January 25. Homer-Center will clash with a Wolves squad coming off a 56-44 league loss to Marion Center (Marion Center, PA). The Wolves record now stands at 4-10.
