Mississippi High School Basketball - Simmons overwhelms West Tallahatchie
January 24, 2024: Webb, MS 38966 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Simmons Blue Devils (Hollandale, MS) and the host West Tallahatchie Choctaws (Webb, MS), saw Simmons's basketball squad wallop West Tallahatchie by a tally of 59-33.
With the victory, Simmons improves its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to South Delta (Rolling Fork, MS) to play the Bulldogs in a 1A Region 5 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 14-3.
Next up, the Choctaws play the Shaw Warriors (Shaw, MS) in a 1A Region 5 challenge, on Thursday, January 25. West Tallahatchie will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record.
