January 24, 2024: Great Mills, MD 20634 The Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD) basketball knocked off the visiting Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD), 47-38 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Hornets (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Northern (Owings, MD). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 2-3 record.
The Chargers now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to St. Charles for a test on Friday, January 26. Lackey will encounter a squad coming off a 62-55 league loss to Chopticon (Morganza, MD). The record now stands at 0-1.
