Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD), 50-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Great Mills upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Hornets host Patuxent (Lusby, MD) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 6-9.
