January 24, 2025: Idaho Falls, ID 83402

The Challis Vikings basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host American Heritage Patriots to 22 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now have a 8-7 record. They play next when they host Butte County for a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. Challis will confront a Pirates team coming off a 70-25 non-league win over Lighthouse Christian (Twin Falls, ID). The Pirates record now stands at 10-3.

With the loss, American Heritage falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Mackay (Mackay, ID) to confront the Miners in a 1A Rocky Mountain game on Tuesday, January 28. The Miners go into the game with a record of 11-5. Mackay won 47-43 in their recent non-league game against Richfield (Richfield, ID)
