The Mackay Miners were victorious over the host Challis Vikings basketball squad by a final score of 64-48 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Miners clash with the Salmon Savages (Salmon, ID) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, December 17. Mackay will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Savages enter the outing with a 1-3 record after their 71-39 non-league loss to Butte County (Arco, ID).
