Oregon High School Basketball - St. Helens thwarts Astoria

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the St. Helens Lions (St. Helens, OR) and the host Astoria Fishermen (Astoria, OR), observed St. Helens's basketball team knock off Astoria by a score of 64-54.

The Lions (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Tillamook (Tillamook, OR). The Cheesemakers come into the 4A Cowapa challenge with a 5-10 record. In their last game, Tillamook was beaten by Seaside (Seaside, OR), 55-41, in a league game.
