Oregon High School Basketball - Tillamook victorious over Astoria
January 31, 2025: Tillamook, OR 97141 In Friday's league contest, the host Tillamook Cheesemakers basketball team scored a good 53-42 triumph over the Astoria Fishermen.
The Cheesemakers (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Scappoose (Scappoose, OR). The Indians go into the 4A Cowapa contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Scappoose topped St. Helens (St. Helens, OR), 54-45, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Fishermen battle the Seaside Seagulls (Seaside, OR) in a 4A Cowapa contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Astoria will attempt to better on its 2-12 season record. The Seagulls go into the contest with a 8-9 record after their 53-35 non-league win over Neah-Kah-Nie (Rockaway Beach, OR).
