Maplewood Rockets (Cortland, OH) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Badger Braves (Kinsman, OH), 65-53 in a league match.

With the victory, Maplewood advances its record to 4-9 on the year. The Rockets host Hubbard (Hubbard, OH) to meet the Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, January 25. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 2-11. Hubbard lost 65-54 in their recent non-league match against Beaver Local (Lisbon, OH)

The Braves now own a 3-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pymatuning Valley for a Northeastern match on Tuesday, January 28. Badger will meet a Lakers squad coming off a 75-65 league loss to Grand Valley (Orwell, OH). The Lakers record now stands at 8-5.
