Ohio High School Basketball - Maplewood overwhelmed by Harding

In Friday's league test, the Harding Skippers (Fairport Harbor, OH) basketball squad trounced the host Maplewood Rockets (Cortland, OH), by a final score of 78-45.

Next, the Skippers clash with the Badger Braves (Kinsman, OH) in a Northeastern test, on Tuesday, February 4. Harding will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Braves come into the test with a 3-17 record after their 63-40 league loss to Grand Valley (Orwell, OH).

The Rockets (4-12) will now prepare for their test against St. John (Ashtabula, OH). The Fighting Herald come into the Northeastern test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, St. John bounced Cardinal (Middlefield, OH), 66-27, in a non-league test.
