The Harding Skippers (Fairport Harbor, OH) basketball were winner over the host Mathews Mustangs (Vienna, OH), 64-52 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Skippers now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Windham for a Northeastern bout on Friday, January 10. Harding will play a Bombers team coming off a 68-47 non-league win over Rootstown (Rootstown, OH). The Bombers record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Mathews falls to 9-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Chalker (Southington, OH) to play the Wildcats in a Northeastern bout on Friday, January 10. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-6. Chalker lost 55-30 in their recent league bout against Maplewood (Cortland, OH)
