Central Crossing Comets (Grove City, OH) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Lincoln Lions (Gahanna, OH), 47-40 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Central Crossing upgrades its record to 4-10 on the year. The Comets travel to Chillicothe (Chillicothe, OH) to face the Cavaliers in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. The Cavaliers enter the match with a record of 4-8.

The Lions now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dublin Jerome for a non-league match on Monday, January 27. Lincoln will face a Celtics squad coming off a 37-21 league loss to Marysville (Marysville, OH). The Celtics record now stands at 1-12.
