The Roby Lions basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Highland Hornets to 25 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now have a 14-10 record. They play next when they host Loraine for a 1A Region II District 14 game on Tuesday, January 28. Roby will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 81-45 league loss to Ira (Ira, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-13.

With the loss, Highland falls to 9-14 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Westbrook (Westbrook, TX) to confront the Wildcats in a 1A Region II District 14 game on Tuesday, January 28. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 13-11. Westbrook lost 52-41 in their recent league game against Ira (Ira, TX)
