January 24, 2025: Elgin, IL 60123 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Larkin Royals (Elgin, IL) and the visiting South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL), observed Larkin's basketball team knock off South Elgin by a score of 59-41.
The Royals (10-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Park (Roselle, IL). The Lancers come into the non-league challenge with a 8-13 record.
In their next game, the Storm play the Streamwood Sabres (Streamwood, IL) in a Upstate Eight - West bout, on Thursday, January 30. South Elgin will attempt to move on its 7-16 season record. The Sabres go into the bout with a 5-18 record after their 76-55 league loss to Bartlett (Bartlett, IL).
