Michigan High School Basketball - Pickford victorious over Newberry
January 24, 2025: Newberry, MI 49868 In Friday's league contest, the visiting Pickford Panthers basketball team scored a good 73-54 triumph over the Newberry Indians.
The Panthers (11-1) will now prepare for their contest against Inland Lakes (Indian River, MI). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Inland Lakes was topped by Bellaire (Bellaire, MI), 81-41, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Indians confront the Cedarville Trojans (Cedarville, MI) in a Eastern Upper Peninsula contest, on Friday, January 31. Newberry will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record.
