In Friday's league contest, the visiting Sunnyvale basketball team scored a good 49-36 triumph over the Wills Point Tigers.

The (12-11) will now prepare for their contest against Farmersville (Farmersville, TX). The Farmers go into the 4A Region II District 13 contest with a 12-11 record. In their last contest, Farmersville was toppled by Ford (Quinlan, TX), 65-52, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers confront the Community Braves (Nevada, TX) in a 4A Region II District 13 contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Wills Point will attempt to better on its 5-21 season record. The Braves go into the contest with a 16-10 record after their 53-44 league loss to Caddo Mills (Caddo Mills, TX).
