The Wills Point Tigers basketball squad (Wills Point, TX), was outscored 55-43 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Community Braves (Nevada, TX)

With the victory, Community advances its record to 14-8 on the year. The Braves travel to Ford (Quinlan, TX) to meet the Panthers in a 4A Region II District 13 battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 9-14. Ford won 47-34 in their recent league challenge against Caddo Mills (Caddo Mills, TX)

In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Farmersville Farmers (Farmersville, TX) in a 4A Region II District 13 challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Wills Point will attempt to improve on its 4-18 season record. The Farmers come into the challenge with a 11-8 record after their 74-46 league loss to Sunnyvale (Sunnyvale, TX).
