The Discovery Charter School Trailblazers basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Research Triangle Raptors to 20 in the Trailblazers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Trailblazers now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Orange for a non-league game on Monday, January 27. Discovery Charter School will play a Panthers team coming off a 60-48 league loss to Western Alamance (Elon, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 10-7.

With the loss, Research Triangle falls to 0-12 on the campaign. The Raptors travel to NCSSM: Durham (Durham, NC) to play the Unicorns in a 1A/2A Super Six game on Monday, January 27.
