January 24, 2025: Murfreesboro, TN 37130 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Providence Christian Academy LIONS (Murfreesboro, TN) and the visiting Franklin Road Academy Panthers (Nashville, TN), observed Providence Christian Academy's basketball team knock off Franklin Road Academy by a score of 52-42.
The LIONS (13-3) will now prepare for their challenge against University School of Nashville (Nashville, TN). The Tigers come into the Division II-A Middle District 3 challenge with a 4-13 record. In their last challenge, University School of Nashville dropped by Middle Tennessee Christian (Murfreesboro, TN), 46-39, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Columbia Academy Bulldogs (Columbia, TN) in a Division II-A Middle District 3 challenge, on Monday, January 27. Franklin Road Academy will attempt to improve on its 16-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 54-43 league loss to The Webb School (Bell Buckle, TN).
