January 3, 2025: Murfreesboro, TN 37129 The Franklin Road Academy Panthers (Nashville, TN) basketball crushed the host Middle Tennessee Christian Cougars (Murfreesboro, TN), 79-34 in Friday's league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Tennessee Heat for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 4. Franklin Road Academy will play a team coming off a 35-25 non-league loss to Life Christian Academy (Harvest, AL). The record now stands at 2-8.
With the loss, Middle Tennessee Christian falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Battle Ground Academy (Franklin, TN) to play the Wildcats in a Division II-A Middle District 3 bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 6-7. Battle Ground Academy lost 76-24 in their recent league bout against The Webb School (Bell Buckle, TN)
