North Carolina High School Basketball - Highlands fells Summit Charter
January 24, 2025: Cashiers, NC 28717 The Highlands Highlanders basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host Summit Charter Bears to 36 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Friday.
The Highlanders now possess a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Swain County for a 1A Smoky Mountain game on Monday, January 27. Highlands will confront a Maroon Devils team coming off a 69-37 league loss to Andrews (Andrews, NC). The Maroon Devils record now stands at 3-9.
With the loss, Summit Charter falls to 4-10 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC) to confront the Black Knights in a non-league game on Monday, February 3. The Black Knights go into the game with a record of 6-7.
