Washington High School Basketball - Nooksack Valley toppled by Lynden Christian
January 24, 2025: Lynden, WA 98264 Lynden Christian Lyncs (Lynden, WA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA), 70-50 in a league match.
With the victory, Lynden Christian upgrades its record to 14-2 on the year. The Lyncs travel to Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA) to face the Wildcats in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest match on Wednesday, January 29. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 4-12. Oak Harbor won 44-38 in their recent league match against Mt. Baker (Deming, WA)
The Pioneers now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Anacortes for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest match on Monday, January 27. Nooksack Valley will confront a Seahawks team coming off a 50-37 league loss to Squalicum (Bellingham, WA). The Seahawks record now stands at 10-5.
