Washington High School Basketball - Nooksack Valley nudges Anacortes
January 27, 2025: Everson, WA 98247 The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA) and the visiting Anacortes Seahawks (Anacortes, WA), observed Nooksack Valley's basketball team edge Anacortes by a score of 57-52.
The Pioneers (11-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Squalicum (Bellingham, WA). The Storm come into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge with a 10-6 record. In their last challenge, Squalicum edged Bellingham (Bellingham, WA), 52-34, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Seahawks encounter the Oak Harbor Wildcats (Oak Harbor, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge, on Saturday, February 1. Anacortes will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 4-13 record after their 70-17 league loss to Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA).
