The Trinity Bulldogs basketball squad (Trinity, NC), was crushed 61-28 in Friday's league battle with the host Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC)

With the victory, Southwestern Randolph advances its record to 16-0 on the year. The Cougars travel to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC) to meet the Tigers in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 25. The Tigers enter the battle with a record of 9-7. Mount Pleasant lost 72-45 in their recent league battle against Union Academy (Monroe, NC)

The Bulldogs now own a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Randleman for a 1A/2A Piedmont battle on Monday, January 27. Trinity will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 48-42 league win over Wheatmore (Trinity, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 10-6.
