January 24, 2025: Hayward, CA 94545 Encinal Jets (Alameda, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Mt. Eden Monarchs (Hayward, CA), 53-50 in a league match.
With the victory, Encinal upgrades its record to 14-3 on the year. The Jets travel to Tennyson (Hayward, CA) to face the Lancers in a match on Tuesday, January 28. The Lancers enter the match with a record of 5-12. Tennyson won 56-32 in their recent non-league match against El Cerrito (El Cerrito, CA)
The Monarchs now sport a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arroyo for a match on Friday, January 31.
