Connecticut High School Basketball - Woodland Regional crushes Kennedy
January 25, 2022: Beacon Falls, CT 06403 Woodland Regional Hawks (Beacon Falls, CT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Kennedy Eagles (Waterbury, CT), 45-23 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Woodland Regional upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Hawks host Harding (Bridgeport, CT) to clash with the Presidents in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 26. The Presidents go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Harding lost 49-17 in their recent non-league bout against Westhill (Stamford, CT)
Next up, the Eagles clash with the Naugatuck Greyhounds (Naugatuck, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley - Copper bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Kennedy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 80-44 league loss to Holy Cross (Waterbury, CT).
