Woodland Regional Hawks (Beacon Falls, CT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Ansonia Chargers (Ansonia, CT), 57-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Woodland Regional upgrades its record to 15-5 on the season. The Hawks host Torrington (Torrington, CT) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 19.
