The Western Reserve Blue Devils basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the visiting Lowellville Rockets to 40 in the Blue Devils league victory on Tuesday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mineral Ridge for a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet contest on Thursday, January 27. Western Reserve will battle a Rams team coming off a 53-17 league loss to Springfield (New Middletown, OH). The Rams record now stands at 2-13.

The Rockets (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Springfield (New Middletown, OH). The Tigers come into the Mahoning Valley - Scarlet contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, Springfield edged Mineral Ridge (Mineral Ridge, OH), 53-17, in a league contest.
