Ohio High School Basketball - Western Reserve overwhelms Mineral Ridge
January 27, 2022: Berlin Center, OH 44401 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Western Reserve Blue Devils (Berlin Center, OH) and the visiting Mineral Ridge Rams (Mineral Ridge, OH), saw Western Reserve's basketball squad wallop Mineral Ridge by a tally of 62-41.
With the victory, Western Reserve improves its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Springfield (New Middletown, OH) to play the Tigers in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet challenge on Monday, January 31. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 14-3. Springfield won 66-41 in their recent league challenge against Lowellville (Lowellville, OH)
Next up, the Rams play the McKinley Trojans (Sebring, OH) in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet challenge, on Monday, January 31. Mineral Ridge will attempt to improve on its 2-14 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 47-13 league loss to Waterloo (Atwater, OH).
