Idaho High School Basketball - Blackfoot holds off Rigby
January 25, 2023: Blackfoot, ID 83221 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Blackfoot Broncos (Blackfoot, ID) and the visiting Rigby Trojans (Rigby, ID), saw Blackfoot's basketball squad hold off Rigby by a tally of 66-61.
With the victory, Blackfoot improves its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Shelley (Shelley, ID) to confront the Russets in a 4A High Country challenge on Friday, January 27. The Russets come into the challenge with a record of 5-10. Shelley lost 59-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Century (Pocatello, ID)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Thunder Ridge Titans (Idaho Falls, ID) in a 5A High Country challenge, on Wednesday, February 1. Rigby will attempt to improve on its 11-6 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 7-10 record after their 73-72 non-league loss to Idaho Falls (Idaho Falls, ID).
