Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Spring Lions (Spring, TX) and the visiting Aldine Mustangs (Houston, TX), saw Spring's basketball squad wallop Aldine by a count of 60-39.

With the victory, Spring upgrades its record to 19-8 on the campaign. The Lions host MacArthur (Houston, TX) to play the Generals in a 6A Region II District 14 challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Generals come into the challenge with a record of 11-15. MacArthur won 38-27 in their recent league challenge against Eisenhower (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Dekaney Wildcats (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region II District 14 challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Aldine will attempt to upgrade on its 10-15 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 0-22 record after their 70-16 league loss to Westfield (Houston, TX).
