The Ripley Vikings tipped the visiting Logan Wildcats basketball team by a final score of 40-39 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Vikings face the Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV) in a Cardinal game, on Friday, January 27. Ripley will attempt to move on its 12-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 9-5 record after their 49-41 non-league loss to Greenup County (Greenup, KY).

With the defeat, Logan moves to 7-9 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV) to face the Panthers in a non-league game on Monday, January 30. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 4-11.
