In Friday's league match, the visiting Ripley Vikings basketball team scored a good 57-38 triumph over the Nitro Wildcats.

In their next game, the Vikings face the George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 31. Ripley will attempt to move on its 13-3 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 9-5 record after their 63-39 non-league win over Winfield (Winfield, WV).
