Roncalli Cavaliers (Aberdeen, SD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Britton-Hecla Braves (Britton, SD), 59-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Roncalli upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Madison (Madison, SD) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Madison won 76-34 in their recent non-league bout against Chamberlain (Chamberlain, SD)
