South Dakota High School Basketball - Milbank holds off Roncalli
February 2, 2024: Aberdeen, SD 57401 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Milbank Bulldogs (Milbank, SD) and the host Roncalli Cavaliers (Aberdeen, SD), saw Milbank's basketball squad hold off Roncalli by a tally of 51-45.
With the victory, Milbank improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Sisseton (Sisseton, SD) to confront the Redmen in a A Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Redmen come into the challenge with a record of 3-12. Sisseton lost 50-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Clark/Willow Lake (Clark, SD)
Next up, the Cavaliers confront the Miller Rustlers (Miller, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Roncalli will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Rustlers come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 61-59 non-league win over Platte/Geddes (Platte, SD).
