Minnesota High School Basketball - Hermantown fells Marshall
January 25, 2024: Hermantown, MN 55811 Hermantown Hawks (Hermantown, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Marshall Hilltoppers (Duluth, MN), 96-84 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hermantown upgrades its record to 15-6 on the season. The Hawks host Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MN) to play the Thunderhawks in a AAA Section 7 bout on Thursday, February 1. The Thunderhawks go into the bout with a record of 6-11.
Next up, the Hilltoppers play the North Woods grizzlies (Cook, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Marshall will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The grizzlies go into the bout with a 11-4 record after their 99-57 league loss to Cherry (Iron, MN).
