The Superior Spartans basketball team (Superior, WI), was overwhelmed 93-66 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Hermantown Hawks (Hermantown, MN)

The Hawks now possess a 21-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chisago Lakes Area for a AAA Section 7 battle on Monday, February 26. Hermantown will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 95-84 league win over Becker (Becker, MN). The Wildcats record now stands at 17-7.

The Spartans (20-6) will now prepare for their battle against Esko (Esko, MN). The Eskomos come into the non-league battle with a 19-7 record. In their last battle, Esko trounced Crosby-Ironton (Crosby, MN), 82-70, in a non-league battle.
