The Fort Frye Cadets routed the visiting Point Pleasant Big Blacks basketball team by a final score of 56-8 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Cadets face the Bellaire Big Reds (Bellaire, OH) in a non-league game, on Monday, January 29. Fort Frye will attempt to move on its 15-4 season record. The Big Reds enter the game with a 13-5 record after their 54-51 league win over Indian Creek (Wintersville, OH).

With the defeat, Point Pleasant moves to 8-7 on the season. The Big blacks host Marietta (Marietta, OH) to encounter the Tigers in a Twin State test on Monday, January 29. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 13-4. Marietta won 40-29 in their recent league test against Warren (Vincent, OH)
